حكاية بغداد About Baghdad; (the writer has imagined) Baghdad as a young girl who is playing in the date gardens every morning until sunset. When she gets tired, she likes to sleep, as always, on Tigris river banks, dreaming of peace and happiness to come again in her life.
صبية جميلة تلعب تحت اشجارالنخيل الشامخة…تتنفس في الصباح عطر النخيل … ثم تطلق للشمس ضفائرها الجميلة لتمرح قليلا في السماء …وعندما تتعب في المساء ترجع الى حضن دجلة لتنام على شاطئيه وهي تحلم بالسلام يعود من جديد
