Sculpture by the Iraqi artist, Ismail Fattah (1934-2004) - IRAQ. Born in Basra in 1934. Sculptor worked and lived in Iraq. Fattah studied sculpture with famous Iraqi artist Jawad Salim at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad before going on to train in Rome. Fattah has executed many of the statues seen today all over Baghdad.
